What is Rockcite™ Marbelite?

Rockcite™ is G.R. Pools’ trademark. It is a custom-blended finish formulated by G.R. not in a lab-setting but after many years of on site, in the field work. Rockcite™ offers many advantages over a pre-packaged, pre-blended marbelite. Since Rockcite™ is mixed on-site, we can control for different environmental conditions. Our spring formulation varies from our fall formulation in that each has the distinction of special additives to ensure optimal strength, curing and bonding properties. Each formula takes into consideration variables such as temperature, humidity, expected rainfall and wind speeds. And with custom-blending, your design possibilities are virtually endless.

Series 1: Rockcite™ Classic Series Marbelite

This series is blended using pigments specially formulated for the swimming pool industry which are both UV and chemical resistant. Choose from our Classic White, Morning Sky Blue, Seafoam Green, Steel Grey, Charcoal Grey and Midnight Grey marbelite colours. Custom blending available.

Series 2: Rockcite™ Pepper Series Marbelite

This is our entry-level quartz enhanced finish using genuine 3M coloured quartz aggregate. One of the greatest innovations in the swimming pool industry has been the addition of quartz aggregate to marbelite – this union strengthens the integrity of the marbelite finish and aids in resisting chemical aggression. Choose from our Pepper, Ocean Mist and Cayman Breeze marbelite colours. Custom blending available.

Series 3: Rockcite™ Granite Series Marbelite

This is our premier level quartz enhanced finish. It is our strongest and most durable quartz-enhanced finish containing 33% genuine 3M coloured quartz aggregate. This series is often used in commercial applications as tests show over 24% more resistance to spot-etching, checking, crazing and chemical aggression. Choose from our Jemstone Blue, Jemstone Teal, Slate Grey, Dessert Stone, Lagoona Blue or Arctic Green marbelite colours. Custom blending available.
